Today I hit my local river for an hour of so and I’m glad I did! I managed to catch a few fish including a big 24 inch rainbow. I watched this big trout feed for a few minutes before sneaking into range and catching him. He was putting on an impressive show eating a lot of small mayflies. I had a very good hatch of small mayflies and the entire river was boiling with fish. It would be safe to say nearly every fish in the river was actively feeding.
