In this episode, we head back up to Montana for some river night fishing with mouse flies. I used the Morrish mouse pattern and catch a nice brown trout after dark. I went up there with the intention of floating a river known for holding some very big trout, but unfortunately that river was muddy from a recent rain. I decided to stop at a smaller river and do some bank fishing. It turned out to be a fun trip with some nice action taking place.
The second portion of this video is fishing on a lake during the night and morning. 2 big rainbows are caught on small dry flies providing some very good footage. I catch one large rainbow that is surely over 20 inches long.
During part 3, I was camping with a friend on the South fork of the Snake river in Idaho. It was a 2 day camping trip that was a lot of fun, and it allowed me to get a lot of time on the water. We floated about 25 miles of the river, but I only fished for one night in this video after dark.
I drove all over to make this video happen, and had a lot of fun doing it. If you like this video please subscribe to the Troutster Flyfishing Youtube channel here.
